Mountain Whiptail

Last month I wanted to participate to a little art challenge, which was about "creatures". Finding an interesting idea wasn't that easy. I changed the design a few times until I found a pose that I like. For the face I used snake photos as reference and for the body I looked up some lizard and dragons pictures on pinterest. I like how it turned out :) It was really chill to draw on one layer and kind of go with the flow. Adding colors that felt right here and there...
I still have much to learn, so I'm looking forward to make some other creatures once in a while.
